Brayden Sorenson
President

Brayden (he/him) attends Concordia College, Moorhead, where he studies Political Science. He is originally from Lengby, Minnesota—a small town in rural, northern Minnesota—where he became passionate about organizing around rural issues such as lack of broadband access and restricted access to healthcare. Brayden serves as the Co-Chair of Concordia College Democrats and as the Vice-Chair of the College Democrats of America Rural Caucus.

Aidan (he/him) is a senior at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities studying Aerospace Engineering. He is the Vice President of @demsmn. Aidan is extremely passionate about Climate Change, and supported Jay Inslee when he ran for the 2020 nomination. When Aidan gets any free time you can find him watching a baseball game or baking.

Hannah (she/her) is a Political Science and Music double major at St. Olaf College. She is from Shoreline, WA, but Minnesota has become a second home to her! She is currently the President of St. Olaf College Democrats and she is so proud of what her chapter and other chapters in Minnesota have accomplished this past year. She is also excited to work with College Democrats of Minnesota to provide chapters with the resources and support to win big in the fall! Outside of College Dems, she sings in the St. Olaf Choir and in her spare time, she enjoys finding new music on Spotify, playing Sporcle quizzes, and trying out new recipes.

Jacqueline (she/her) is a junior at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities majoring in Economics and Political Science and minoring in Public Health. She was born and raised in Minnesota in her hometown of Eden Prairie. She has previously served as the Treasurer for the College Democrats at the University of Minnesota and is passionate about the Green New Deal, combating economic inequality, and improving access to high-quality education. In her free time, she will most likely be taking a nap.

Tessa (she/her) is a junior from Buffalo Grove, Illinois studying Political Science and Communications at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. This past year Tessa was the Outreach Director for @demsmn and spent time interning for the Amy Klobuchar presidential campaign. She is passionate about gun control, women’s issues, and Parks and Recreation. In her free time she is probably listening to Taylor Swift, Pod Save America or watching John Mulaney. She is very much looking forward to getting out of quarantine and getting to work!

Siena (she/her) is an American Studies major and History Minor at Carleton College. Originally from St. Paul, she is the President of CarlDems. Jacob (he/him) is a senior at St. Olaf College double majoring in biology and political science. He plays clarinet in the St. Olaf Band, and enjoys volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, spending time outdoors - especially in Minnesota's state parks. He is excited to connect with people on the issues they are most passionate about.
